Professional Profile

Dr Kirkby completed a Neuroscience degree at Manchester University before pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology. She completed her Clinical Psychology doctorate at Manchester University in 2003 and works at the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences as a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist, specialising in the neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of adult neurology and neurosurgery patients. In 2006 Dr Kirkby obtained the post-doctoral specialist qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN). She is a member of the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists and the Directory of Expert Witnesses. Antonia has a particular interest in Functional Neurological Disorders and is the Clinical Lead for the Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder service in the Department of Clinical Neuropsychology. Antonia is also a Supervisor on the Clinical Psychology Doctoral training courses in the Northwest and conducts research in the area of functional neurological disorders.
