He is the Surgical Tutor for Neurosurgery at Salford and is currently Honorary Secretary of the Society of British Neurosurgeons. In the past he has held the postions of Foundation tutor, clinical lead and clinical director for Neurosurgery at Salford. He also was a member of the NHS England Adult Neurosurgery Clinical Reference Group for four years.
